Hello Track Families!

Our current and prospective student-athlete and family meeting for the summer track club will be on Monday, May 2nd from 7:00-8:00p. We will go over the summer training schedules, competitions, fees, philosophies, Nationals, and everything else you need to know about Hustle Track Club.

As the season begins to wind down, we have two more meets that need long jump volunteers. The North meet on Friday, May 6 and the DPS League meet on May 12 and 14.

No experience is necessary and you will be guided by East alumni the entire time. Parents and athletes who are not participating in a meet can sign up. As you know from the Angel Invite, it takes a community to make these meets successful.

If you are a sand and track person, we have the perfect volunteer job for you! Our long jump crew could use a raker for today’s DPS B track meet at All City at 3:00pm. We have a great crew of track alums working the pit, but they could use one more person, no raking experience necessary. Please text Ruth if you can help, 303-525-3829. Parents, alums, current athletes and East track friends are welcome!

2. Varsity Meet at Liberty Bell on Friday and Saturday, April 29 & 30

Hi East Track & Field community!

Thanks to our parents, athletes, siblings, grandparents, family and friends of East Track for hosting our first Track & Field meet in over 20 years. Since we have never hosted an East meet before, we were a little nervous about how it would go. Your efforts made the meet a success! The meet would have failed if we just had a few people helping out, but that wasn’t the case. We had YOU!

Feedback from other teams has been very positive and we are so proud of our Denver East Track & Field Community. There is an obvious reason our Track & Field athletes are so amazing, they have fabulous parents and families backing them up. We appreciate you!
